Yesterday I took a trip to @thecurrentyearretro in Parma's Polish Village neighborhood to find some swag for #PersonalityCrisis, my new #PunkRockBingo collaboration with The Foundry Concert Club. The Current Year is located on Ridge Rd next to Rudy's Strudel.
I scored the debut LP from Rank and File, a pioneering West Coast cowpunk band, featuring members of The Dils and The Nuns. Also a bunch of 45s (mostly Motown and new wave), a few buttons, and a couple stickers.
While I was there I also met @john.l.sheppard, author of Small Town Punk and Swing, Baby! Swing. He provided copies of both, the latter includes his signature inside.
Win one or all of these this coming Tuesday at the Foundry from 9 to midnight. I'll also have tickets for the upcoming Dead Boys show on Feb 14 and New Wave Dance Night, Buckland Museum tour tickets, gift cards for The Miscreant and the Muse, and more.
