Our 19 year and 2 month old little Chloe left us on Jan 5,2026.
19 years ago, Chloe found Seth in a parking lot and since then, they had taken care of each other.
She was a very persistent, stubborn, smart and loving little person. She was picky about who she loves and I am lucky to be one of three.
I’ve never had any pet before the day I came to this house on Jan 12, 2023. I didn’t know what to do with a cat and at first I was worried she will knock off my stuff like every active cat in videos online. But Chloe was just always resting, begging for human food with her loud,strong voice and begging for love. I didn’t have much special feelings for her for the first months, especially when she jumped to my lap and puked on my dress then walked away like nothing happened when I thought she wanted some love. I was so mad that the whole neighborhood could hear my scream. But one time when I was sad and crying in bed, she just came in bed and peaceful laid beside me without making any loud meows. I was very shocked and found out that Chloe as a cat can understand our emotions and try to comfort us. She wants love and gives love. I spent most of my time with Chloe in 2024 at home and the Apple album already made a video for us saying we are besties. I think we did become besties. She really liked to get on my lap and follow me around even when I was working. She got so sick in summer 2023 and we thought she would die. But Seth insisted on giving her medicine just to make her eat. So her life got stretched a little. Her sickness came so fast. One week ago we just took her to the vet but after giving her medicine for a week, she still won’t eat anything.
Monday we got more stuff from vet and went home early. It was a sunny day and it felt so warm just like spring. We took Chloe out to the front porch to let her enjoy the sunset and breeze. Later she watched tv with us at night. Then we took her to our bedroom hoping we could spend the night with her. But she began to gasp and we knew she was leaving us. So we just petted her and told her we love her. She had a great life and we love her forever just like she did us. 🩷
