Election results showed a wave of blue pivots toward Democrats with 20, 30, 40 percentage point swings compared to two years ago. It suggests a broad, nationwide statement of frustration with the state of the country and the presidency of Donald Trump, who asked voters to treat this midterm as if he was on the ballot. CNN is comparing each district's House result with how it voted for president in 2024. Explore the live map at the link in @cnn's bio.

So thrilled to win the main prize in the Portrait category with my photo of Alison Spittle at the British Photography Awards! I was so chuffed to see my photo up there alongside the work of actual professional photographers whose work I’ve admired for years. A HUGE thank you to Alison for trusting me with her vision. Her homemade dress made of shower loofahs was genius! A MASSIVE thank you to the judges of the BPAs who I still can’t believe picked my photo out of all the amazing work in the category. The night wouldn’t have been half as fun if @hollyrnewman wasn’t there with me, so a BIG thank you to my mum for babysitting and allowing us our first proper night out since we became parents! #bpa #britishphotographyawards The winning photo in question! Shot at my home away from home @hotdog_studios This is my other photo that was in the running last night. A photo of one of my absolute faves, @fatiha.elghorri A few weeks ago I asked/ begged my mates to vote for it for the People’s Choice prize but unfortunately it didn’t win. Thank you to everyone who voted anyway, I really appreciate it! And the biggest thank you to my wife/ bestie/ queen @hollyrnewman What a woman to have in your corner! The most supportive, loving wife and mum!
The next James Bond may have just been revealed, and it looks like Callum Turner 🍸👀 Roger Friedman of Showbiz411, the reporter who broke Daniel Craig’s casting over 20 years ago, says Turner has landed the role of 007 in Denis Villeneuve’s upcoming Bond film following final screen tests in late October. Amazon MGM Studios hasn’t confirmed it yet. Producer Amy Pascal has hinted that casting news could arrive by the end of the year, with filming expected to start in early 2027. Is Turner your Bond? 👇
