This final recap of 2025 is for me.
I decided to share some of these shots, while looking at them with emotion, simply because I want this post to represent a very specific moment in my life: the moment when I know exactly who I was, who I am, and who I want to be.
So this isn’t the usual monthly recap.
This is the recap of my life.
Thanks to my parents, from a very young age I had the privilege of experiencing the outdoor world in many different forms. And somehow, even though I spent a long time living in the city and doing jobs that kept me far from woods, rivers, and the sea, that deep urge to breathe nature,something that has always been part of me,led me exactly where I was meant to be.
My fascination with cameras has never left me. It changed shape countless times and, in the end, just as fate probably had planned, I now spend most of my time telling my greatest passions through a lens.
2025 was the year I chose who I wanted to be for the first time, with a thousand doubts and uncertainties. And you know what? I believe there are no absolutely right or wrong choices,only choices that are made, or not made.
The final frames are the most important ones to me, their placement is not random.
My uncle,one of the most important people in my life.
I’m sure is still looking at me that way, wherever he may be. Today I return that slightly cheeky smile, full of love.
At the bottom, my father and my brother, supporting me in the greatest obsession I’ve ever had: fishing. My mother was taking the photo,and there it is, among so many other things, she also passed on to me the passion for photography.
I don’t know what 2026 will be, but I do know that with a camera and a fishing rod in my hands, I’ll have everything I need to face it the best way possible.
