The Grateful Dead like many others found me at a time in my life when I was not doing great. I was lost, angry, scared, and unsure what direction my life was heading. Music is one of the most powerful healers in the world and that was exactly the case for me. The Grateful Dead pulled me out of the darkness and showed me the light. It was the tool that helped me repair my relationship with my Dad, which I later wrote my College essay on. It was the tool that inspired me, healed me and has given me hours upon hours of joy, connection and much more. I was fortunate enough to meet Bobby twice once in 2017 at MSG and a second in 2019 at Syracuse University while I was in school. I got to sit down with him for a half hour and just listen to him speak about life on the road, health and the difference in sound between analog and digital mediums (classic bob 😭) and more. But those 30 minutes taught me so much about surrounding yourself with good like minded people who will support you, build with you and love you. Thank you Bobby for all the lessons you taught us and for all the music we will have to cherish for years to come.
Always a hoot❤️
