Luke 2:52 NKJV
Growing this was one of my favourite verses! I was simply astonished by how one could posses the ability to be favoured by GOD and Favoured by MAN! Like to some extent, that means that God looks at you and your requests with FAVOUR and Men simply FAVOUR YOU!
I think I caught this understanding when I was 14. Ugh! I prayed this prayer always!!!! I continue to, if I’m being honest.
But recently I learnt something in addition to this, despite the remarkable favour Jesus possessed, he was hated and chased to be killed. Omo, the FAVOUR doesn’t mean you would be liked 24/7.
Being set aside for God alone, makes you a target. More grace to being SET ASIDE!❤️
