The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. SCHWAB
5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue is one of those rare books that feels timeless, intimate, and expansive all at once. What I loved most is how different the story is from anything else. It doesn’t rush, it lingers, allowing the reader to fully feel the weight of Addie’s existence.
Addie’s journey through so many important cities and centuries is beautifully written, making history feel personal rather than distant. She lives, creates, inspires, and loves, all while knowing that no one will ever remember her. And yet, she continues to risk her heart. That choice alone makes her unforgettable.
The idea of loving when love cannot last, of leaving marks on the world without being seen, and of choosing freedom even when it comes at an unbearable cost, it’s quietly devastating in the best way. Addie’s story is about art, memory, identity, and what it truly means to exist.
This book stayed with me long after I turned the last page, thoughtful, emotional, and hauntingly beautiful. I truly enjoyed every moment of it, and it’s a story I’ll carry with me for a long time.
I buddy read Addie LaRue with my friends, and we can’t stop talking about the book. Swipe left to see the picture of our books.
