HOW IS IT NOVEMBER?!?! Time is flying, although I’m not complaining since it’s been a very challenging second half of 2026. #fableticspartner

BUCKLE UP! For those of you wondering about my breast cancer journey, the saga continues…

After bouncing back rather quickly following my double mastectomy, I was starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel as I began hormone therapy and prepared for radiation. Unfortunately, a PET scan revealed cancerous lymph nodes—a surprising and upsetting discovery for me and my doctors, since nothing had appeared on previous scans. On October 26, I had a second surgery: lymph node removal, an internal “rewiring” procedure to help prevent lymphedema, and replacement of my (extremely uncomfortable) expanders with implants.

I’ve been resting and recovering and trying to be patient as I wait for the results from my surgery. I don’t know what the next steps are exactly, but I have been finding comfort in a Louise Hay quote that I came across recently. In fact, right before I went under, I said an abbreviated version to myself, “all is well and I am safe.”

“All is well in my world.
Everything is working out for my highest good.
Out of this situation only good will come.
I am safe!”
- Louise Hay

As always, sending love & light to you! 🩵🩵🩵
