9 holes, 18 holes or however many are needed to complete the course. This is for a vanity handicap. When looking for a true handicap, only 18 hole rounds on par 70-73 courses should be counted

Having a low handicap doesn't benefit you in any way apart from bragging rights. So every round should count

People on England golf are realising now there is now point in putting in social cards, but the system is flawed and handicaps can be manipulated, but as a member of clubs handicap committee, we get so much data, and we can see who's at it and we will take steps if we need to

No. Only 18 holes and frankly I don’t think rounds involving drinking should count either.

You can do that now . Just post the shot total you’ve played and it’ll ask how many holes . I saw a friend post a 63 & I was like “what! “ but next to the 63 was the (14) for holes played . And if it’s just 9, just post under 9 hole section instead of 18.

I like how they treat 9 as its own and don’t hold to combine with the next 9 from a different course and a different day

Ye if you enter a 9 hole comp of course your score should count . If you play 16 and pull out for some reason then your score can be recorded up to that and go against your handicap .
