I created this improvisation as a reimagining of a solo I performed in high school, made to honor my beautiful grandmother who passed away from dementia 6 years ago. I wanted to make something that reinvigorated my passion for dance as well as reminded me of the deep love I have for my family. Happy birthday grandma, I know you’re watching over me and you will always hold a special place in my heart 🤍
