Puerto Escondido-ito-rito with the boys ๐Ÿ๏ธ

My take: Good beachy vibes, GREAT food (and prices), easy access from Austin. Highly recommend for a long weekend getaway, but not much longer unless you love surfing.

WiFi was very weak, and this town read as more "I'm on vacation" than "I work remote here". There's not a ton to do, and after 7 days I felt like I checked the PE box.

The main strip (La Punta) is lively during the day, and goes to sleep by 11pm, which is honestly pretty nice! There are also beach clubs on the other side of town that run late (but not exactly my style).

It felt incredibly safe, airport was a breeze, and honestly it was a great tranquil reset!

Quick vacation getaway: 8.5/10
Remote worker friendly: 4/10
Safety: 9/10
Social Ease: 7/10
Food: 10/10
Prices: 10/10
Air quality: 10/10
Weather: 9/10
