From passion to profession.
Proud to complete CSIA Level 1 – Canadian Ski Instructors’ Alliance certification ⛷️ 🔥. Officially International Ski Instructor now.
I began skiing in 2016 in the high mountains of Nepal with my friends while establishing Ski & Snowboarding Foundation Nepal. Learning to ski at home was never easy — no ski lifts, limited infrastructure, and harsh terrain. We trained by hiking uphill with our skis, learning in real mountain conditions at high altitude. These challenges gave us a raw and unique skiing experience that shaped our skills, endurance, and mindset.
After years of hard work and extensive backcountry skiing, I wanted to take this journey to a professional level with international recognition. That opportunity came through a joint training program by Ski & Snowboarding Foundation Nepal and Evergreen Alpine Academy, Hakuba (Japan).
This program opened doors to international teaching standards, global instructor pathways, and professional opportunities in ski schools worldwide.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Dave Enright and the entire Evergreen Alpine Academy team for their guidance, support, and belief in our vision.
I would also like to congratulate my friends and partners who passed alongside me:
1. Utsav Pathak – CSIA Level 1
2. Sukdev Thapa – CSIA Level 1
3. Abhishek Shrestha – CASI Level 1 (Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors)
Congratulations to the team on becoming internationally certified ski and snowboard instructors. Looking forward to going further and exploring more together.
Cheers ❄️⛷️ #nfss #skisnowboardnepal #evergreenalpineacademy #skifornepal #japan
