3 years of survivorship🥹. At diagnosis 3 years ago, I turned to Reddit to get some community. A lot of patients warned me about “Anticipatory grief”. The practice that people act like you are dead to protect themselves from grief. I can say that despite all the changes and uncertainties, people show up for me. They celebrate me. Comfort me. Respond to my digital panhandling - (GoFundMe). My people engage with me even when it hurts.
Having a term%#@& diagnosis in my 30’s is nasty work. I’m proud of myself because I have gotten out of bed every day since diagnosis and in return my community is consistently comes through.
Thank you for being in my circle. Thank you for not forgetting about me. 3 years 😳Hoping to outkick my coverage on this one🩶.
*video from Sept. 2025. Also, I am really hoping this flower is a “forget me not”. If not, use your imagination 😊
