Stopped by Union Bear in Plano at Granite Park 🍺📍 — a locally owned brewpub that’s been part of the Plano scene since 2018. We tried their seasonal Blueberry Pomegranate Sour Ale 🫐🍎, which is extra exciting because it’s the first seasonal beer they’ve ever canned and now available on tap + in stores.
Union Bear has locations in Plano, Denton, and McKinney 🏙️ with their distribution brewery based in Downtown Denton. You can find their beer at H-E-B, Kroger, Central Market, and local liquor & beer stores 🛒🍺.
More than just a brewpub — the cocktails + mocktails are solid 🍸✨ and the carrot cake? A must 🥕🍰. Easygoing vibe and a great happy hour spot.

Had a frustrating experience at Union Bear today. Despite it being nearly 90 degrees out, a staff member closed our umbrella while we were still mid-meal due to ‘high winds.’ We were almost finished, and being forced to sit in the direct sun for our final few bites was very unreasonable. A little more patience and better timing would have gone a long way. I will never spend my money here again! This was the Plano location!
