Running is political, sports are political.
Fuck Ice.

Ran this morning with a friend; running is a tool I often lean on to cope/process/grieve etc. This run felt like a reprieve from a v tuff week.

But driving home, I’m thinking about all the folks who don’t get to run to cope. Those that are living in fear of leaving their house because of what might happen to them and their families if they do.

There are many people in this country who can’t just run/move/get outside — not when they’ll be hate crimed and murdered by police (justice for Ahmaud Arbery), not when they lack the physical capacity to do so or have been systematically kept out from movement spaces.

Sport needs to be safer and more accessible for everyone, not just some of us. Ice out ice out ice out.
