How to layer a dress for cold winter weather! (Petite-friendly 👏)

I like to add lightweight layers under a dress in the winter. Maybe a turtleneck or a lightweight wool crewneck.

I add tights and a slip on top of my tights so the dress doesn’t cling. Then tuck my top into the tights to keep things smooth.

Of course, finish the look with knee-high boots and a warm coat and scarf!

As always, these outfits are shown unaltered on me at 4’10”. For size comparison I typically wear petite 00/24/xxs and have a 25” ankle inseam and 28” full length inseam.
