Sometimes you forget to give yourself permission... In my case, a psychic did it for me.
Could AI animation eventually challenge Pixar? This AI-generated short follows a fearless platypus as it escapes crocodiles, outruns a wolf, leaps off a cliff, and ends up in a ridiculous high-speed motorcycle chase through the desert. What stands out is the quality of the animation. The character expressions, detailed environments, camera movements, and action sequences look like something you'd expect from a big-budget animated movie. And AI video generation is improving at an incredible pace. Scenes that once required teams of skilled animators and weeks of work are becoming easier and faster to produce with AI. What do you think?

Democrat Abdul El-Sayed defeated Republican Mike Rogers to claim Michiganโ€™s US Senate seat, delivering a must-win victory for his party and a boost to progressives nationally after one of the most expensive and divisive contests of the 2026 midterms. El-Sayed, a physician who will become the first Muslim senator, hammered Rogers over high gas prices and the impact of President Donald Trumpโ€™s tariffs. A longtime critic of Israel, El-Sayed linked Trumpโ€™s war with Iran to rising costs in a bid to win over White working class and rural voters. His win marks a major victory for progressives, who have sought to demonstrate that more liberal candidates can succeed in the US heartland with a diverse coalition.
