I don’t know about you, but I have spent my whole life searching for LOVE, JOY, LIFE… never more than this stage of my life when I am acutely aware that there’s not a lot of time left. It is the prayer I have for each of my sons that they find this kind of love and joy and fill their cups up until they overflow with it. And that they remain grateful for it every day that they breathe. I think that’s what moves me so deeply when I watch Benito Bunny’s halftime show. (still watching it) He shared the best part of himself and made sure it came shining through for the whole world to see. This young man who looks very much like my sons, under enormous pressure, chose LOVE… his life source … and for a moment, lent a beautiful spotlight on his homeland, his culture, his beautiful people for us to witness and share. His is a universal language. And just like operas, you didn’t need to understand it to feel it, to let it light your soul on fire. Bravo Benito for being LOVE and JOY and LIFE for us while the whole world watched. ♥️
