Despite Russia being legally ruled to be allowed back into IIHF play, all countries around the IIHF are making it clear that they're not welcome in their country. Canada hosts the 2027 IIHF U20 World Junior Championship, and the Canadian government "strongly opposes" the ruling of allowing Russia back in, and it's believed that they will refuse them visas. Finland hosts the 2028 IIHF U20 World Junior Championship, and Finland's Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen confirmed that as long as the war of aggression against Ukraine continues, Russian athletes will not be welcome in Turku & Tampere for the tournament. It's unknown if Germany will take a stand against Russia, as the Germans host the 2027 IIHF Men's World Championship.

She was trying to feel that championship material πŸ˜‚ Jalen Brunson and a female NBA referee had one of the most unintentionally hilarious moments of the night after an awkward accidental encounter on the court had NBA fans absolutely losing it. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜ What was supposed to be just another normal moment during the game quickly turned into comedy gold, with Brunson and the official finding themselves in a situation neither of them probably expected. Sometimes the funniest moments in basketball have absolutely nothing to do with the actual game. πŸ’€πŸ€ Of course, NBA fans wasted ZERO time turning the awkward interaction into a full-blown meme. πŸ˜‚ Social media loves catching players and referees in the most random situations, and this was exactly the kind of moment the internet was built for. Between the jokes about Brunson getting a little too close to the officials and fans imagining what everyone was thinking, the entire situation became funnier the more people talked about it. 😭 The funniest part is that it appeared to be completely accidental, which somehow makes the whole thing even better. πŸ˜‚ Brunson was just trying to play basketball, the referee was just trying to do her job, and suddenly they’ve got the internet making jokes about their unexpected chemistry. πŸ’€ You really never know what you’re going to see during an NBA game anymore. One second you’re watching basketball, and the next you’re witnessing a moment that’s about to get replayed a million times on social media. πŸ˜πŸ€ Follow US (@lamarsnackson) for more sports content πŸˆπŸ€βšΎοΈ
