Mathilde van Nuffel

Looking at this painting today, I remember waiting for my little girl to grow in my belly last summer, and discovering with amazed eyes the sorority and community that exists in motherhood. There is learning into becoming a mother but there is learning into seeing others as well, and this has been the greatest surprise of this new chapter. Can’t wait to draw, paint, embroider and play with clay to capture it all 💘
