Michelle Schildgen, WRID

Scandinavian meets Midcentury meets Art Deco in this West Side Madison kitchen remodel. The custom bookmarked veneer walnut cabinetry is a midcentury gem, covering the panel-ready refrigerator and dishwasher. Taj Mahal Quartzite countertops and backsplash keep this look simple and clean. The curves of the new island feature solid wood tambour, matching the curves of the LED-lit ceiling feature. A white tambour hood and upper cabinets blend with the walls to create an open and airy space, maximizing natural daylight, and providing a gorgeous gallery wall and shelf for these art loving homeowners.
