✍️ Progressive Sports & Entertainment are proud to announce that Gustav Stjernberg has signed a two-year entry-level contract with the Colorado Avalanche of the National Hockey League.
Gustav’s path to the NHL is a testament to perseverance and long-term development. Undrafted and without national team experience, he chose a different route after his J20 years, continuing his development in North America through the USHL before moving on to the NCAA with Bowling Green.
Through hard work, patience, and steady progression, Gustav has developed into a strong and reliable defenseman — qualities that have now earned him an NHL opportunity with one of the league’s top organizations.
We are extremely proud of Gustav and look forward to following the next chapter of his journey with the Colorado Avalanche organization.
Thanks to Octagon for the fantastic partnership!
Congratulations, Gustav!
