5 months agoThe divide between parents and kids is not from God. God is love &unity. The words they say their kids will one day say.Reap what they sow. So sad. No one asked us to be born either. When our parents say they sacrificed for us I acknowledge it because they did. It’s not guilting it’s truth. And if they didn’t the kids would say u didn’t sacrifice or fight or try anything for me. The divide isn’t the actions. It’s the attitude of feeling unloved and victimised that a society drilled into the youth with looking for flaws in the people that raised them, in the therapy language of the system and influencers. The irreconcilable ungrateful mess of a learned victim mentality where everything a parent does has been mislabeled in a toxic manner. U give them stuff ure not letting them explore. U don’t give them u didn’t nurture. U protect them or try, u control. U don’t u failed to protect. U give them toys u never had ure lacking in emotional love. U give emotional love u failed to give them the necessities of life. U work two jobs so they can study, ure not around. Ure not working two jobs u made their life harder. U don’t make them pay bills ure not teaching life skills. U make them pay bills ure harsh and heartless. U can’t disagree ure toxic. U agree ure faking suport. Is there anything at all a parent can do to placate such an offspring brainwashed by the therapy language? I say yes. Pray for them incessantly to wake up and be safe. The world preys on the ones alone. If u don’t pray ure cold. If u pray ure too religious. U can’t please people looking for faults. Even if they make it in the world coz the world loves to bless materially those that left God or irreconciled as they all flock together in their bitter world view and projections, but u can gain the world and lose ur soul. The parent can pray because they love unconditional. Despite any hate they receive. They have other kids who need them and value their input and do not use the ungrateful language or fall into the therapy traps society uses to divide and conquer to ruin. God in the Bible says before the return of Jesus he will turn kids hearts ti parents and parental hearts to their kids. Divine Ezer 🤍
6 months agoThis explains so much of what many families are experiencing right now. A lot of parents were raised in survival mode where emotions, mental health, and communication were not openly discussed. Meanwhile, younger generations are growing up with more emotional awareness and language around healing. From my years in education, I saw how many conflicts between parents and kids were not about lack of love, but lack of understanding, communication tools, and emotional connection. The families willing to reflect, heal, and grow together usually build the strongest long-term relationships.
6 months agoAnd yet, if you never made those sacrifices… because you wanted the child to learn to be independent and not rely on family handouts… or some other reason. The adult child will also use that against you. Regardless of how much love was behind your reason for doing that.
