It is not often that entire villages turn into art galleries, displaying artworks of mesmerising beauty and complexity adorn the roads and doorsteps.
The third edition of 'Kalpana' took place on Saturday, February 28, across the villages of Putru, Darisai, and Pairaguri in West Singhbhum district of Jharkhand.
The third edition saw 112 households take part in the competition. The hot weather did not make it easy for the jury members, who went door to door evaluating the artworks. While the jury assessed the designs on parameters such as creativity, complexity, and skill, they also paid close attention to the cleanliness of the surroundings, which is an important part of the initiative.
I am deeply grateful to everyone who contributed to making the third edition a success.
