A short but passionate time at home when you are an adult mayfly & you have only 24 hours to use it to reproduce, but you just don't feel like it, rather you'd contemplate life and yourself, you would make art about what you know, you would read the heavy books written by wise insects who crawled on this Earth long before you, you would write your stories and songs, wouldn't you? Or would you rather fly around until your body is exhausted from the lack of nutrients due to your functionless mouthparts? Or maybe doing it all, you have a whole day!

🪰 And what a day it was for this little mayfly who got the chance to shine at @dinghi.budapest's pop up calendar exhibition back in the days... in 2021! When they spent one whole day on 24th December, just chilling by the entrance as the artwork of the day! They were quite grateful for the opportunity.
