Cats of Kapitolyo

ANOTHER HIT-AND-RUN VICTIM 😢💔

She was a new cat along West Capitol Drive. She didn’t even have a name yet. Now her rescuers have named her Kapi… Sadly, Kapi’s last moments were not something anyone would want to witness. She was killed, almost instantly, by a pick-up truck speeding along the well-lit road.

Sorry that we didn’t even get the chance to get to know you, Kapi. Run free. This world doesn’t deserve you.

According to the vet, Kapi also just gave birth. What will now happen to her kittens? We don’t even know how to find them.

Nevertheless, we extend our thanks to Kapi’s rescuers. You know who you are. Thank you for doing your best to bring her to the hospital. At least she died in the warmth of your arms and not on the cold pavement. 😢❤️

Let this be an eye opener that hit-and-run happens too often. It is every driver’s responsibility to drive with care and #BrakeForAnimals.
