Lineage is a constantly reoccurring theme in the bible for characters. Lineage highlights the relevance to history when it specifically comes to how you came to be within it all. Keeping it genesis related, Adam was made in God’s own image, and from Adam came Eve. Somewhere in that we preside still born in this world of that same image with a soul in the constant cycle of creation in that lineage as sons and daughters from God’s lineage. I think family is different however, I think the functionality is in its own category within it all. It’s the people closest to you in blood within your perception of the present. Your relationship with them is going to be systematically unique in its own way compared to someone like me, or anyone else outside of it. Often defined by a honor, trust, respect, that comes with kin established with growing up with one another. Never abandon that. It comes unconditionally in a way.
