This trip to Hawaii was concocted a few months back as a means to help my parents finally move out of their large storage unit they’ve had for years. What it turned into was so, so much more. After my dad had emergency gallbladder surgery and a pacemaker put in while on vacation a few weeks ago, the trip took on a whole new meaning. What started off as me traveling to work for a week on this special project and helping on another with setting them up at an expo turned into the rest of my family coming out to spend some quality time with my parents. And it was a complete surprise to them! Grateful for the memories made, the old friends and family seen, and the time spent back in my roots. A hui hou Hawaii ❤️
