Next Stop: East Village 💛
The East Village BIA combines two beloved neighbourhoods: Hastings Sunrise + Grandview-Woodland. It is located in Vancouver’s northeast, with its boundaries generally extend from Burrard Inlet to the north, Powell Street to the south, Clark Drive to the west, and Nanaimo Street to the east. These borders place the East Village at the intersection of the working waterfront, established residential areas, and key transportation corridors.
Now that you know exactly where it sits in the city, let’s talk about the fun stuff. This area has plenty of nooks to discover - from buzzing breweries to top rated Vancouver restaurants. It also is filled with local shops and services to explore.
Here are some spots to check out while you’re in the area:
Art & Activation: Write a love letter to East Village and slip your note into the pink letter box at Hastings and Kamloops Plaza. Plus, keep an eye out for the giant heart installations and roses tucked around the ‘hood.
