HU Staff: Kecia Gayle @kecia.kae Mona Love is not feeding the internet’s appetite for drama with Cardi B. The podcaster has chosen to issue an apology instead, admitting she should have done more research before giving her opinion on a topic that ultimately sparked controversy. ___________________________________________________ The apology came on The Joe Budden Podcast, where Mona’s co-hosts basically gave her a temperature check on the whole mess. “I apologize,” she said, explaining that she slid into Cardi’s DMs when the rapper first spoke up because she never expected the situation to blow up or upset anybody. “Like her saying that I’m the cause of her being dragged right now, like that sh-t makes me feel horrible,” Mona said. “I wouldn’t want nobody to experience that s—t.” ___________________________________________________ The backlash started when Mona referenced a 13-second clip from a 2024 Instagram Live where she felt Cardi was incorrect about colorism’s role in her success. Mona argued that Cardi’s skin tone had a lot to do with how far she’s gotten. However, the problem, as Mona now admits, is that the clip was a tiny slice of a much longer conversation. “If I knew that that clip was edited, or even if it wasn’t edited, if I knew it was that old, it would have been a total different response from me,” she said. Joe Budden, never one to let a teachable moment pass, called the apology “big” and used it to push a point about accountability, saying he wants her words and actions to line up. He also argued the broader conversation didn’t need Cardi as its face. ___________________________________________________ CLICK LINK IN BIO TO WATCH APOLOGY VIDEO + FULL STORY 📸 Getty Images

"CHADEMA IMETOA MASHARTI YA KUONGEA NA SERIKALI" ‎#HABARI: "Chadema haijakataa kuongea na serikali. Chadema imetoa masharti ya kuongea na serikali. Masharti yao, namba one, Lissu awe huru. Namba two, tume huru. Tume huru kuhusu maridhiano. Hivi vitu vikiwa, vikiwa tayari, Lissu akiingia kwenye mari-- chama kikienda kuongea, maana yake serikali itakuwa imepita kwenye zile condition mbili ambazo zammsingi. Ndiyo wanasema wakimwachia kesho kutwa. Condition ya kwanza inakufa, sababu Lissu anakuwa ameshinda kesi mahakamani. Inabaki condition ya pili, je, wako tayari hawa watu kuhusisha wa, wa kuhusisha nini?.........."-Godbless Lema - Mwanachama wa Chama cha Demokrasia na Maendeleo (CHADEMA). 50 Cent Celebrates Tia Kemp’s Backup Page Removal, Targets TikTok Next Blogged by: Draggy 50 Cent is bragging about the removal of Tia Kemp’s Instagram accounts, sharing screenshots that appear to show Meta taking action against her pages as their legal battle continues. The rapper shared what appeared to be a notification from Meta indicating the company had decided to remove an account. He followed that with another screenshot showing a backup page Kemp had created, writing, “Back up down, Tik Tok and Twitter next.” Instagram profile header for user yuntietiabackk02 showing 2 posts, 49 followers, 0 following, avatar, and a blue Follow button. While 50 is celebrating the removals, the screenshots do not establish that he personally caused Meta to take action. The company has not publicly explained the specific violations behind the reported removals or identified who submitted any complaints. However, Kemp is already back on Instagram. She has been posting from another account under the handle @yuntietiabackk, which reportedly has approximately 45,000 followers. Despite the apparent loss of multiple pages, she continues rebuilding her online presence. The latest development comes after Tia Kemp’s Instagram page, @yuntietiaback, disappeared earlier this week. On November 3, 50 shared a screenshot showing the profile displaying “User not found,” accompanied by Martha Reeves and the Vandellas’ song “Nowhere to Run.” At that point, it was unclear whether Kemp had voluntarily deactivated her account or Instagram had removed it. The new Meta screenshot appears to provide additional information about the account removals, although the company’s reasoning remains unknown. The social media drama follows a serious legal dispute involving 50 and his 14-year-old son, Sire Jackson. On October 26, the rapper filed a federal lawsuit against Kemp in Los Angeles on his son’s behalf, seeking at least $6 million in damages. The complaint accuses her of defamation, invasion of privacy, and intentional infliction of emotional distress over social media posts discussing the teenager.
