American voters have issued a stunning referendum on the Trump administration.⁣ ⁣ Last night, election analysts on cable news zoomed in and out on their touch screens. Their conclusion? It was a very good night for Democrats.⁣ ⁣ Before midnight on the East Coast, news outlets called the party flipping control of both the House and Senate, along with several surprising governorships from the Republicans. As of 10am ET, Dems were on track to have 228 House seats and 54 Senate seats.⁣ ⁣ With Democrats in control of Congress, they’ll likely look to roll back Trump's most controversial policies. While Trump has pledged to be “Mr. Veto,” last night he told the New York Times that he looks forward to working with the Democrats.⁣ ⁣ As for markets this morning, stocks ripped higher in the wake of the Democrats resounding victory, with the Dow jumping 2.1%, the S&P rising 1.7%, and the Nasdaq climbing 2.4%.⁣ ⁣ 📸 : Getty

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman has sparked backlash among PC gamers and technology enthusiasts after suggesting that keeping large amounts of RAM in personal computers is an inefficient use of limited global memory supplies. Speaking on John Collison's "Cheeky Pint" podcast, Altman argued that centralized data centers could make better use of DRAM than individual computers that remain underutilized for much of the day. His comments were made in the context of running Al models locally versus through cloud infrastructure. The remarks frustrated many PC enthusiasts already concerned about rising memory prices and growing demand from Al companies. Critics argued that personal computers serve purposes beyond Al, including gaming, editing, and other demanding applications, while also allowing users to maintain control over their own hardware. The controversy has renewed debate over whether the rapid expansion of Al infrastructure is coming at the expense of everyday consumers.
