The entire staff of Gamharia police station in Jharkhand’s Seraikela Kharsawan district has been s*spended after a woman was allegedly r@ped on the police station premises on October 29, a senior police officer said. The woman had reportedly visited the station to file a complaint following an altercation with her husband. She was asked to wait in a room, where a wireless operator allegedly r@ped her. The main @ccused, along with the officer on duty and the station clerk, was @rrested and sent to judicial custody. A total of 15 police personnel have been suspended in connection with the case. A special investigation team (SIT), led by Seraikela SDPO Anubhav Bhardwaj, is investigating the incident.
