‘The Serpent’s Wrong Turn’ by artist Daniel Dalfovo (@daniel.dalfovo) explores the dynamics of growth, collapse, and expansion, using a glowing snake traversing a rocky structure as a metaphor for energy, ambition, and territory.

Through a rotating spherical installation and a digital serpentine landscape, the project experiments with physical and virtual interplay, where phosphorescence, motion, and materiality converge to create unexpected forms of engagement. The work reflects on contemporary phenomena in which power, technology, and desire for expansion occupy more and more space, drawing parallels between natural behavior and socio-political dynamics.

Visitors are invited to observe the interplay of light, energy, and form, and to reflect on cycles of repetition, accumulation, and inevitable collapse.

Project duration: ongoing, with on-site engagement from Thursday 26–Saturday 28 March. Access is included with a STRP ticket.

‘The Serpent’s Wrong Turn’ is part of STRP’s ‘Soft, Slow and Powerful’ from 26–28 March 2026. The programme and tickets are now available through our website.
