It started with a one-way ticket almost 6 years ago. I left NYC at the height of the pandemic — the only person on my flight — unsure of what was ending and what was beginning.

Home held me. I grieved. I grew. I watched my grandmothers transition. I sat on the couch with my parents watching Jeopardy more nights than I can count. I lost weight, gained it back, healed heartbreak, found a love bigger than I imagined. I bought a house on my own. Froze my eggs. Led teams through hard seasons. God strengthened me here.

Tomorrow, another one-way ticket — this time to Seattle. It’s bittersweet and brave, tender and exciting all at once. I may not always understand the journey, but I trust that God has been — and will continue — to carry me into what’s next. ✨
