I regrip my clubs free hand while sitting on the couch at home😂 No vice, just a bucket to catch the solvent

That’s exactly how I started in 1999. Over the years, I became a Class A Clubmaker and a CPGA instructor. I have been retired for a few years but still like to do the occasional repair or wood refinishing to keep up the skills and because I miss it. Glad to see someone carrying the torch. 👏

I’m comfortable with gripping now, it’s ferrules and stamping that are my next goals

Don’t do graphite shafts with the grabber/holder. It will def. Crack them. Ask me how I know.

Quick question, ChatGPT tricked me and I bought a .355 tip shaft instead of a .370, do you recommend placing a brass shim to solve it? Or get new shafts?

Use mineral spirits instead of grip solvent cheaper and better.

Also easy to do without a bench or vice or heat gun if you're on a tight budget. Really only need a hook blade, solvent and tape.

Just got my vice from Harbor Freight going to start club work. Do you think the anvil size would work for stamping before I upgrade
