Please Please… Don’t Quiz Me!

40 years ago on February 28, 1986 Pretty In Pink was released in theaters. Written by John Hughes, the film stars Molly Ringwald, Jon Cryer, Annie Potts, James Spader, Andrew McCarthy and Harry Dean Stanton. A new ending was shot after test audiences responded negatively to Andie & Duckie getting together. The film was named after the song by the Psychedelic Furs. The soundtrack includes “If You Leave” by Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark.
