For years, employees have faced harassment, retaliation, and discriminatory practices, while management has repeatedly failed to act. From physical harassment being ignored to promotions being denied likely based on identity and union membership, the message is clear: worker safety and dignity are negotiable, but NOT ANYMORE!
We are filing complaints with the California Civil Rights Department and demanding: zero-tolerance policy enforcement, HR accountability, a transparent path for promotions, and direct communication with the union.

Also Solo openings at Montclair?? There was burglary at neighboring businesses and employees were still doing solo opens. HELL of unsafe. And major issues with the central heating and air with no support of fixing the issue and employees literally suffering heat stroke during trainings. Its a miracle they willingly wanted to stay employed. Also, I can attest to way too many instances of employees trying to speak out of problematic staffing issues, which made them feel unsafe and unheard constantly. I can go ON AND ON🫠🫠🫠

for years: i can confirm since 2018. employees were leaving at that time for not complying w meal breaks and probably other things i’m forgetting. if anyone reading this needs some confirmation: it’s going to take boycotting highwire to make meaningful change because they make a ton of money and have no pressure to change!
