The Ultimate Shire!

The build featured in this video is a MOC designed by @rebelnili and is based on LEGO set #10354

Set no. 10354 The Shire was released on April 2, 2025. It consists of 2,017 pieces and costs 269.99 USD / 269.99 EUR / 1149.99 PLN.

What I like:
- Lots of cool minifigures and accessories – Frodo, Bilbo, Gandalf the Grey, Merry, Pippin, Samwise and Rosie, Mr. and Miss Proudfoot. It also has a function that turns the letter from the fireplace into a ring. There is famous Bilbo’s book, and much more.
- In addition to the Shire, we get a scene from Bilbo’s party with Bilbo disappearing, and Merry and Pippin with a firework dragon.
- Surprising use of elements, such as a boomerang as part of a fence.
What I don’t like:
- The trees are poor. Neither are impressive. I’d like to see them with green leaves.
- The building is open at the back and shallow.

So I looked for an expansion to fix these issues and found Rebelnili MOC-226375. It adds many more rooms to the building, like a bedroom, bathroom, pantry, and kitchen. It encloses the building and adds many more plants to the exterior. It makes both trees look amazing. It adds over 1,000 leaf pieces to them! These are the best LEGO trees I’ve ever seen. Now it’s time to add the „Late Arrival” scene and the „Samwise Gamgee’s House” MOCs to complete the entire Shire.
