Maddie Riggin (she/her) writes songs like postcards—intimate, reflective, a little homesick. Raised in Tulsa, she blends indie folk with pop’s confessional charm, exploring what it means to grow up queer in the Bible Belt, to leave and to return. Whether she’s tracing the afterglow of a wild night or celebrating quiet love between friends, her music lingers with honesty, longing, and warmth.

About the Artist
LAURYL EDDLEMON is a Tulsa-based painter, illustrator and graphic designer. Lauryl earned a BFA in Commercial Art at Southwest Texas State University where she also studied fine art and art history. This led to a 12 year career as the Design Director at Southwest Art Magazine, furthering her art knowledge and involvement with the arts community. Lauryl lived in Austin, TX for over twenty years before relocating to Tulsa in 2024. She spends the summers in Santa Fe, NM where she finds endless inspiration in the arts, culture and landscape of the American Southwest. Her love of folk art inspires her bold, expressive style and rich colors.
About the Exhibition
This women’s history month exhibit is about celebrating the strong female. Through a series of intimate portraits and figurative works, I endeavor to show both strength and serenity, using a variety of media. I often use vintage photos for inspiration and reference material, particularly those from the 1920s and 1930s. I see a certain vulnerability in these faces but also profound determination. I have a deep respect for the groundwork laid by those who came before us.
