He has very wide feet, a large bunion, and had major spinal surgery several years ago, so comfort and support are really important for him—especially with some travel coming up.
Today we went to Fleet Feet, where they used their 3D foot scanning technology to measure John’s feet and help us find the best fit for his walking style.
The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and patient, explaining everything and bringing out options that would support his feet properly.
John came in hoping for green shoes… but the best fit ended up being these—and honestly, comfort matters more than color when you’re planning lots of walking.
The right shoes really can make all the difference.

Also Oofos slides for at home 👏 I don’t wear outside shoes in my home but I also have spine issues and spine surgery (spinal cord issues) and it affects my feet too. I can’t walk barefoot anymore and kept buying all different types of house shoes/slides to wear inside my home and i finally splurged on Oofos recovery slides and OMG 😍👏🙌❤️👏🙌❤️

John might not have gotten green shoes, but you could add some awesome green shoelaces to make them pop! My favorite color is orange, which can be hard to find sometimes. 🙌🏻 ☘️
