I’m not sure why anyone would use a digital camera for anything outside of client work to be honest. I had a Fuji X100VI that I bought because of the hype and I shot fewer than 30 photos on it because I just could never justify using it instead of my K1000. I think you’re dead on about the no-screen experience being a big reason to shoot film, but I’m also a sucker for simplicity. I want reliable ttl metering, a viewfinder that shows me what the lens sees, and really intuitive manual controls for quick shooting.
