I extended the series, so today is Galway, Ireland 🇮🇪 Part IV.

The video starts with us hiking some rough terrain around the outskirts of the Atlantic (I wish I’d gotten more footage, but it was dangerous, we were at heights sometimes and I didn’t want to drop my phone - or myself 😅).

We searched for about an hour but the sea moss industry is a cutthroat business in Ireland 😂 We either kept coming across false sea moss or colonies of Chondrus Crispus that had already been completely wiped out! It was a little nerve-wracking because it was our last opportunity (the day before was way too windy to make the trip and our flight back to the states was early the next morning).

But alas, we eventually found some. 😊 We spotted a baby colony and didn’t want to harvest from there (to give it time to replenish), but we knew that meant a more mature colony was nearby (and we were right)!

I had the opportunity to harvest some too 😊
