⁣
O resultado de um trabalho contínuo, duradouro e realizado com regularidade são crianças e jovens dançando ao som dos tambores e de cantigas que carregam a memória e a ancestralidade de nosso território.

Throughout the filming of Training Day, Denzel Washington heavily relied on improvisation, spontaneously creating many of his dialogues to give Alonzo Harris an unpredictable edge. This creative freedom reached its peak at the end of the film, during the confrontation in which Harris tries to maintain his authority in front of the neighborhood residents. There, Washington delivers a long monologue that culminates in the iconic line, “King Kong ain’t got shit on me.” Despite being perfectly suited to the moment, the line was not in the original script. In an interview with Vanity Fair, director Antoine Fuqua recalled that Washington improvised it during filming: “The King Kong moment came out of Denzel. I remember that moment because we were doing the scene, and he just started going off. I remember looking at the cameraman and saying, ‘I hope you got that because I don’t think we’re going to get that again’”. Washington’s spontaneous performance gave rise to one of the film’s most memorable moments. His masterful portrayal of a corrupt police officer became one of the most defining performances of his career, even earning him the Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role that year. Watching that improvised monologue, you don't see Washington. The scene captures a man driven by greed and power, desperately clinging to whatever remnants of control he has left. Can you actually improve bone density after 50? Yes, but your bones need the right kind of stimulus, and that doesn’t mean you should immediately start jumping! Walking is excellent for your health, but walking alone may not provide enough additional loading to significantly improve bone density. The key is introducing impact gradually, at a level your body can tolerate. Here’s how you can work toward it: 1. Seated foot taps: A starting point to prepare for more challenging movements. These aren’t meant to build bone density themselves. 2. Heel drops: Begin introducing controlled impact through your lower body. 3. Small jumps: Gradually increase the loading as your body adapts. 4. Lateral jumps: Introduce changes in direction and different loading patterns. 5. Jump rope: Progress toward more repetitive impact when you’re ready. Research suggests jumping exercises can help improve bone mineral density, particularly at the hip. A research review examined programs averaging approximately 50 jumps per session, four days per week. But that’s NOT where everyone should start! And don’t overlook strength training. Progressive resistance exercises are another important component of maintaining and improving bone health. If you have osteoporosis, a history of fractures, or balance concerns, consult your healthcare professional before introducing jumping exercises. The goal isn’t to do more impact immediately. It’s to build your capacity gradually. Save this for your bone health routine! #BoneDensity #BoneHealth #WomenOver50 #HealthyAging #StrengthTraining
