Never brush muzzle mats dry… ❌
This is one of the most common grooming mistakes I see. A little detangler first helps loosen the mat and makes brushing much more comfortable for the dog. 🐶✂️

Another good detangler is Groom Professional Wondercoat. Also lovely to use with a wet coat before drying. Will have to look out for the brand you are using.

I struggle so much with getting my bichon frese hair unknotted! I feel like I’m pulling his hair everytime I try do anything. His hair is so curly and thick that it’s so hard to maintain!
