Today was gentle and calm. We had no worries and all smiles while Enjoying the warmth, our longboard runs, practicing our training while getting all the treats, meeting new friends, watching the sunset shift color and all the simple moments between. 🖤

While many of us were expecting a Ténéré 900 powered by the CP3 engine, Yamaha went in the opposite direction, presenting a single-cylinder adventure bike. But is this actually a bad move? The market is increasingly focused on lightweight adventure bikes, with models like the CFMOTO 450MT, KTM 390 Adv R and KOVE 450 Rally and similar ones gaining attention. A single-cylinder engine could mean less weight, simpler mechanics and potentially lower maintenance costs. But the real question is: what will the final specifications look like? Personally, I'd still love to see a Ténéré 900 with the CP3 engine, but this new direction could be exactly what the adventure market needs. One thing is certain: it's still a concept, and there's a lot we don't know yet.
