Christian Louboutin’s first nail polish film, directed by David Lynch in 2014 – their second collaboration after their joint 2007 project

The bottle’s 8-inch spiked cap mirrors the Ballerina Ultima heel, while the faceted glass base was inspired by 17th-century European balustrades. The shade itself traces back to 1992, when Louboutin used his assistant’s nail polish to paint a shoe prototype, creating the red sole by accident.
