Vivienne Jolie is making her name official. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s 18-year-old daughter has legally dropped “Pitt” from her surname and will now be known as Vivienne Marcheline Jolie. A Los Angeles judge approved the change on Nov. 2, following her petition filed shortly after her 18th birthday. She joins siblings Shiloh, Maddox and Zahara, who have also legally removed their father’s last name. Vivienne had already used “Vivienne Jolie” in the Playbill for Broadway’s ‘The Outsiders,’ which she worked on alongside her mom in 2024. (📷: @gettyimages)

The Weeknd’s new song “Hong Kong” is officially #1 across every major Chinese streaming chart. It’s #1 on Apple Music Hong Kong, #1 on Spotify Hong Kong, and swept QQ Music and NetEase Cloud Music’s Surging, New Song, and Hot Song charts. On NetEase, it’s the first English-language track to top the Hot Song chart this year. The song samples Faye Wong’s 1993 Cantopop classic “Monsoon.”
Long before the building became a public library, it was home to one of Chicago’s most unusual and talked about drinking spots. Known as the Midget Club, the tavern attracted plenty of attention and became a popular destination for people looking for something different from the city’s traditional nightlife. Now, rare footage offers a fascinating glimpse inside the bar and the atmosphere that once made it so memorable. The footage comes from I Married a Munchkin, a film by Chicago filmmaker Tom Palazzolo. His work documented everyday life and some of the more unusual corners of the city, preserving scenes that might otherwise have disappeared from public memory. This particular footage gives viewers a chance to see the Midget Club as it actually looked while it was still operating. The tavern eventually closed after the city acquired the property and the building was cleared to make way for a public library. The decision became controversial among people who believed the establishment had a place in the neighbourhood and questioned whether another location could have been used for the library instead. Today, the footage serves as a reminder of how quickly familiar places can disappear as cities change and redevelop. Whether the library was worth the loss of the tavern is still an interesting question, especially for those who remember the Midget Club. Would you have saved the bar or supported the library?
