Hi everyone! I recently discovered the satisfying sound of cracking pages ready to be unfolded after the paint has dried 😊. I made my first attempt at painting the edge of a book with the last book I have rebound, and I'm quite happy with it!
I don't have professional material, so I used basic brushes and acrylic paint available in all hobby stores. The Jules Verne story was the best to try that out, since I knew it would look cute with basic drawings.
It seemed complicated to be able to finely draw on this media. Maybe I haven't squeezed the book press enough, I'm not sure 🤔. What do you think I could do to make it easier?
