If you are interested in a tad bit of lore, read the pinned comment. :)

Some "quick" lore: Nex was one of six members of the old age deities, whose role was that of peace keepers within their sun system. Due to various reasons, Nex betrayed the other five, but failed to kill them. Instead, he ripped their soles out of their bodies, and banished them into a time and space stream. As an oracle foretold, the five banished souls returned, planted into each a human body, sharing it with its right full owners. Quabil is the vessel of Zelos, a deity who was Nex best-friend, during their times as deities. The animatic is supposed to show Nex's first encounter with Zelos's consciousness within Quabil's body.
