THE ELECTRUM COLLECTION

Historically, electrum was the naturally occurring alloy of gold and silver used by the ancients to forge the world’s very first coins, a physical union of two opposing precious metals.

Currently on view at Parkline, this new exhibition explores that ancient duality through the lens of contemporary form. The collection bridges the gap between classical anatomy and pop-surrealism, utilizing highly polished metallic finishes, patinated textures, and carbon elements. From the rigid geometry of the modern gladiator to the fluid, melting constraints of contemporary icons, the collection forces light and reflection to become active participants in the sculptures themselves.
